Tuscaloosa, Alabama-based DCH Health System hired Rachel Anderson as vice president of supply chain, according to an Oct. 1 press release. She will start in the role on Oct. 14.
Anderson, who was previously corporate director of supply chain at Baptist Health in Montgomery, Alabama, has experience in supply chain management, strategic sourcing and operational oversight.
According to the release, she will aid DCH Health System as it continues to optimize its supply chain operations across its network, which includes 583-bed DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
“Her approach aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver high-quality healthcare services to our community,” DCH Health System SVP of Finance Bob Tracz said in the release. “I am confident that her insights and leadership will contribute significantly to our ongoing success.”
Anderson spent 13 years with Baptist Health, originally joining the company as a value analysis specialist in 2011, according to her LinkedIn profile. She was promoted to corporate director of supply chain in 2020. Per the release, during her time with Baptist Health, she supported the planning and implementation of a supply chain vision for the health system.
