National DCP, which provides supply chain management services for Dunkin’ franchisees, began construction on a new food service distribution center in Burleson, Texas, on Tuesday, according to a June 25 press release.
The facility, which is based near Fort Worth, Texas, will include 79,296 square feet of floor space with the potential for scaling, according to NDCP. The project is expected to be completed in Q3 2025 and will support projected growth for Dunkin’ and its franchisees.
"This centralized location will allow us to better serve members throughout Texas and the region,” said NDCP CEO Stephen Down in the release.
Once constructed, the new facility will become the 10th such distribution center in NDCP’s network, which also includes 30 logistics hubs. Through its supply chain network, the company says it currently completes more than 700,000 deliveries per year, supports more than 10,000 quick-service restaurants in the U.S. and distributes products to more than 40 countries.
In addition to its network expansion, NDCP recently added a new sourcing leader, with the $3 billion supply chain enterprise naming Harry Sinclair its new chief procurement officer in May. Sinclair previously held the same title for E&J Gallo Winery and is focusing on Dunkin’s sourcing strategy, infrastructure and team development.
Sinclair’s addition followed a pair of other recent leadership changes at NDCP, which promoted Down from CFO to CEO at the end of 2023 and hired Juan Joachin, formerly SVP of finance operations at Domino’s Pizza, as CFO in February.
