Home appliance company Electrolux Group named Michelle Shi-Verdaasdonk as chief procurement officer, according to a Nov. 13 press release.
In her new role, which takes effect Dec. 9, Shi-Verdaasdonk will oversee the procurement strategy of direct and indirect materials, logistics services and product sourcing, per the release. Shi-Verdaasdonk previously worked at Electrolux Group between 2010 and 2015, holding several global director roles within manufacturing and quality.
Before rejoining Electrolux, Shi-Verdaasdonk served as chief supply chain officer at Dyson, where she led the household appliance company’s end-to-end supply chain. Prior to that role, Shi-Verdaasdonk was Dyson’s group director for global manufacturing and procurement, according to the release.
She also served as VP and head of manufacturing at Philips Lighting, now Signify, from 2016 to 2019 before joining Dyson, per her LinkedIn profile.
