Galloway Company, a Wisconsin-based dairy product supplier, promoted Troy Youngbauer to chief operations officer, according to a July 1 press release.
Youngbauer previously spent seven years overseeing supply chain and operational management as senior director of operations for the company. During his tenure with Galloway, he has managed more than $100 million in capital expansion and helped the company double its workforce.
In his new role at Galloway, Youngbauer will support the company’s next phase of expansion while continuing to lead capital expansions and operational improvements.
Before joining Galloway in 2017, Youngbauer worked for Kimberly-Clark, the corporation behind Kleenex, Cottonelle and other consumer product brands. His last post for the company was director of customer supply chain strategies and development, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Galloway began transforming is operations before promoting Youngbauer, expanding its distribution network earlier this year. The producer of sweetened condensed milk and cream liqueur bases is now using a facility in Louisville, Kentucky, to ship products to craft distillers. The facility includes a cold storage logistics center and is owned by bulk alcohol supplier Ultra Pure, which has partnered with Galloway for the last eight years.
