Sporting goods retailer Kent Outdoors named Dave D’Angelo its new chief supply chain officer, according to a May 6 press release.
D’Angelo will aim to help the company “evolve for new opportunities ahead,” Kent Outdoors Executive Chairman Lee Belitsky said in a statement.
D’Angelo has more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing, global operations and supply chain operations. Prior to his new position, which he started in May, according to his LinkedIn profile, D’Angelo held executive roles with Thermo Fisher Scientific, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Staples and Reebok, according to the press release.
“Dave has a track record of driving efficiencies and global collaboration among departments, facilitating new product development and launches in the sporting goods industry, and building and leading effective teams for manufacturing, distribution and retail,” the release said.
Kent Outdoors owns several brands, including Arbor Snowboards, Freedom Foil and Aquaglide, according to the sporting goods retailer’s website. The Utah-based company recently sold its Kona Bikes brand as it looks to direct resources toward its water sports businesses shortly after hiring Rob Otto as its new CFO.
