Port Everglades cargo volumes fell 5% year-over-year to 79,246 total TEUs in September, reflecting a seventh-consecutive month of declining volumes.
September was another YoY decline for the port as well as month-over-month decline. Compared to August, September port volumes dropped 0.5% to 79,642 total TEUs.
Compared to 2019 levels, cargo shipments at the East Coast port fell by 3% in September.
Everglades joins the Port of New York and New Jersey, Port of Virginia and Port Houston in reporting a drop in volumes in the past two months.
