The Supply Chain and Procurement Awards, a global initiative focused on recognizing supply chain and procurement leaders who deliver excellence, announces their 2022 annual awards ceremony and presentation, which will be held virtually on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. This year’s program will benefit Hope for Justice, an international nonprofit organization working to bring an end to modern slavery and human trafficking.
“Supply chain and procurement practitioners have rarely faced as challenging an environment as they have in recent years. Their efforts are no longer under the radar. They are front and center, creating a key aspect of any company’s competitive advantage in the modern era of commerce,” says Scott Luton, Founder, CEO and Host of Supply Chain Now and an awards organizer. “The Supply Chain and Procurement Awards will celebrate the often overlooked accomplishments of supply chain and procurement professionals around the world, while also helping to create more cross-industry awareness about the travesties of slavery and human trafficking.”
This year, nine awards will be presented, each with unique criteria and a nomination deadline of March 1. Winners will be chosen by a panel of executive judges and awarded at the ceremony, which will also feature several keynote speakers. Sponsorship opportunities are still available, with all nomination fees and a portion of the net profits going to Hope for Justice. The 2022 Supply Chain and Procurement Awards are jointly presented by Supply Chain Now, Buyers Meeting Point, and Art of Procurement.
Tickets are available to the general public (who are encouraged to make a donation to Hope for Justice). For more information, please visit the 2022 Supply Chain and Procurement Awards website.
Beginning in 2019 as the Atlanta Supply Chain Awards, the Supply Chain and Procurement Awards will salute a wide variety of leaders and teams across all facets of the supply chain while staying fully committed to philanthropic endeavors.
