Euro-Log AG, a leading provider of platform-based supply chain software for managing the supply chains of global enterprises, is expanding its presence in the US with its own customer support. Globally operating customers now will receive even closer support when using Eurolog services such as the transportation management system (TMS), the container management system or one of the global real-time tracking solutions.
“We are already represented at several locations in the US via our parent company SupplyOn. With Thomas Foerster joining us as Director Customer Success Management we are now expanding our services with our own expertise and a dedicated Eurolog point of contact for all existing clients and those interested in modular and flexible IT solutions for managing and optimizing their supply chains,“ says Jörg Fürbacher, CEO at Eurolog.
Individualized Solutions and High Connectivity
Thomas Foerster can rely on decades of experience in the logistics software industry. His previous stations include Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture and Oracle where he was, among other tasks, involved in the implementation of Oracle Transport Management (OTM).
“Eurolog’s modular, customizable, and highly scalable solutions can be adjusted to our clients’ particular logistics processes as well as to the requirements and practices of their regional and local markets,” says Foerster.
On the Eurolog platform customers’ ERP systems, service providers, partners and Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) solutions can be smartly integrated to deliver end-to-end supply chain collaboration in real-time. These strengths and capabilities have contributed to their adoption by leading global firms, including several of the leading European automotive OEMs and their suppliers.
“I’ve known Eurolog for a long time and am excited to represent their solutions in the North American market,” says Foerster. Based in New London, NH, he initially will be the point of contact for Bosch’s Next Generation Transport Management (NGTM) Project in the Americas region.
Next Generation Transport Management – Optimizing Bosch’s Global Supply Chains
With partners such as SupplyOn, Deloitte and ServiceNow, Eurolog created one of the largest European TMSs for Bosch. Bosch plans to use the NGTM to manage the transportation needs of all business units globally, covering all transportation modes. The platform tracks, analyzes and optimizes all processes – from pick-up to delivery - and provides real-time visibility down to the item level. As a result, equipment utilization increases while costs and CO2 emissions decrease.
The next step is the integration of the Americas region into the NGTM. Eurolog is responsible for the fast and efficient connection of plants, suppliers and transport service providers to the TMS. This also includes adapting the existing system to the regional practices as well as standards and workflows.
“We are excited to expand the Bosch supply chain ecosystem with our partners on a global level,“ says Fürbacher.
With the addition of Thomas Foerster to the already existing U.S. team, Eurolog can now be even closer to its client base in the Americas region and offer a flexible and fast service. “This is what sets us apart,” Fürbacher says.
Integration, collaboration and real-time visibility characterize the DNA of EUROLOG’s platform-based software for supply chain management. The IT service provider and specialist for data integration connects all partners in the supply chain on its own logistics platform. Based on this shared data pool, even the most complex processes of global supply chains can be smartly managed and optimized with EUROLOG’s digital solutions.
EUROLOG employs more than 120 people in Hallbergmoos, near Munich, Germany. The EUROLOG platform exclusively uses its own data centers in Germany.
EURO-LOG AG has been part of the global SupplyOn Group since 2018.
